IBM-ART is a gap analysis application used internally by IBM’s Senior Enterprise & IT Architects to:

• Determine an organizations current state of technical maturity
• Generate deliverables (Excel, Powerpoint and various graph-images) - documenting a roadmap for achieving a targeted technical maturity
• Leverage an application collaboration feature, enabling IBM to gauge technical health/penetration on global- or geographical-specific levels.

Currently at version 5, ART has been in development for over 5 years and is developed in Flex, using PureMVC as a framework. It is built with SWF Studio to provide full local desktop integration and packaged and deployed using Advanced Installer.

The code-base is well architected and of a considerable size, it has a number of server-side touch points (internal IBM user directories, Coldfusion, BlazedDS, CollabNET SVN), and integrates with other [theREDspace] purpose-developed applications and dashboards.
