MTV/Logo was looking for a new way to engage viewers of their show Ru Paul's Drag Race. The idea was to engage viewers in a way that was funny, harmless,  would bring viewers closer to the show, and would encourage them to spread their support for it.

Leveraging our developmental prowess and design talent, TheREDspace pitched the Dragulator. The Dragulator allows users to import real images of themselves or friends and dress them up in drag. It's as much fun as it sounds, and looks! The Dragulator website won the Silver award at the Creativity International Annual Award!

TheREDspace's talented design and developmental teams set to work creating a seamless UI on the front end, easy back-end configuration for the non technical producers at MTV/Logo, and an attractive and fun set of accessories and models for use within the Dragulator.

The Dragulator application was designed and developed using Adobe Flex. The application allows the user to upload a photo and turn the photo into a drag queen, after undergoing various user friendly interfaces. The application was designed based on MVC and Flex best architectural practices to provide extensive customization, without the need to recompile the code.
